Another method is Myofascial Release Yoga (and Massage) where we work on the deep-seated connective tissue (=Fascia) restrictions, to have a balancing effect on the entire organism
- Releases tensions and emotions/trauma from the body and mind
- In Yin-Yang Fascia Yoga, each movement is ideally intuitive and meditative. Through mindfulness we get to known our own bodies better and feel anything we have (subconsciously) suppressed for years
- balance the male and female energy in ourselves:
- MIx of passive, long held poses (YIN) and dynamic/ static-strengthening postures (YANG)
- we will shake, bounce and swing (fascia tissues looove it)
- Use of tennisballs for certain tense spots (Self-massage, similar to black roll)
- supports the elasticity of our fascia = keeps your body and system young
